Central Market

Mangabeiras Park and Viewpoint

Park

Located at the foot of Serra do Curral, a cultural heritage of Belo Horizonte, the Parque das Mangabeiras, designed by landscaper Roberto Burle Marx, conserves in its area of ​​2.4 million m2, 59 springs of the Córrego da Serra, which integrates the São Francisco River. Visitors can enjoy natural corners, shuttlecock courts, tennis and multi-sports facilities, skate park, toys and cultural activities.

Museum of Arts and Crafts and Station Square

Station Square is linked to the construction of Belo Horizonte, founded in 1897 to be the new capital of Minas Gerais, replacing Ouro Preto. Erected in 1904, the railway station was the gateway to the materials and equipment for the works of the new city. Officially, his name is Rui Barbosa Square, in honor of the great jurist and politician from Bahia. With the implantation of the Museum of Arts and Crafts, Station Square is moving towards complementing it, contributing to the process of revitalizing the entire central region of the city, already consolidated as a cultural center.
